Villa Florrie is a spacious self-contained lake front villa set on the edge of Otumutu Lagoon, Lake Tarawera. The surrounds of this stunning villa offer privacy with gentle sloping grounds that lead to the water’s edge and a private jetty that is ideal for fly-fishing.
Inside the Villa there are spacious rooms with doors opening to covered decks and beautiful views of the lagoon. The décor of the Villa is contemporary, with comfortable leather sofas and New Zealand art.
You can relax on the deck, after a hard days sightseeing and admire the striking scenery and observe the wide range of local birdlife. Evening brings its own specular scenery as the stars come out to shine with no city lights to spoil the view.
Local activities including trophy trout fishing; thermal attractions, hot pool spas and bush walks are a short drive from the Villa. You can fly-fish from the private jetty or take guided trout fishing expeditions throughout the local area, take a water taxi to explore the lake and visit Hot Water Beach. You could also simply enjoy cruising, swimming or kayaking on the lake.
